Vigil in Remembrance of Breonna Taylor

Breonna Taylor was an EMT. Breonna Taylor was a College Student. Breonna Taylor was going to be a Nurse. Breonna Taylor was going to have children. Breonna Taylor was 26. Breonna Taylor Was a Black Woman. Breonna Taylor was UNARMED. Breonna Taylor was INNOCENT. Breonna Taylor was MURDERED.

Dear Allies, you promised to stand in solidarity. To UPLIFT Black voices, to support Black Women, to LISTEN and join us in the fight for Black Lives Mattering. We gave y’all an entire YEAR , full of protests, social justice, activism and SHARED MULTIPLE WAYS TO SUPPORT YOUR BIPOC COMMUNITY.
OUR FIGHT IS NOT & HAS NOT STOPPED.
As a Black Leader, Community member & your very own “EMERGING ACTIVIST” I ASK that you SHOW UP & join me, Kerstin Arias of 

K. Arias Creatives &  Central Oregon Peacekeepers TODAY, March 13th in Downtown Bend at Drake Park as we stand in solidarity, light a candle & release a Balloon in honor of the day this world lost Breonna Taylor.


Expect for the weather to be a little cool so come prepared by dressing warm. Bring candles, (we will have some as well to hand out), bring a balloon, (purple or blue her favorite colors)
We will also have guest speakers, music (My Everything x Mary J. Blidge was her favorite song)
And a moment of silence dedicated to REMEMBERING Breonna Taylor!

REMEMBER THE BLACK LIVES THAT YOU STOOD IN SOLIDARITY FOR, LAST YEAR. REMEMBER THE BLACK LIVES THAT YOU PROMISED TO FIGHT FOR, UPLIFT & SUPPORT.
REMEMBER THE BLACK LIVES THAT YOU SAID MATTERED.
Most importantly REMEMBER THE BLACK LIVES THAT ARE STILL HERE FIGHTING FOR THEIR LIVES TO, and not just when it’s their name next to R.I.P and hash-tagged!!!!
