This is the first in a series of conversations called “How Do We Dream a New Normal,” organized by equity advocates affiliated with organizations including: Better Together, Central Oregon Community College‘s Office of Diversity and Inclusion and Office of Adult Basic Skills, OSU-Cascades, The Equity Cooperative, Planned Parenthood Columbia Willamette‘s Bend Health Center, Central Oregon Trans Health Coalition, and Restorative Justice and Equity.
This series is designed to create a space for learning, dialogue, and collaboration to help our youth, our community, and ourselves navigate these times of uncertainty.
“Equity During a Pandemic” will be facilitated by Marcus LeGrand and Jamie Bowman. Featured speakers include Janet Sarai Llerandi Gonzalez and Joanne Mina.
Janet Sarai Llerandi Gonzalez, (she/her/ella) is the Administrative & Finance Coordinator for Better Together & Early Learning Hub of Central Oregon and the Executive Director of Mecca Bend.
Joanne Mina (she/they) is the Volunteer Coordinator at Latino Community Association and a Community Organizer with Indivisible Oregon
