We were afraid this might happen: For reasons all of you know all too well, the Covid case count in Deschutes County remains unacceptably high and despite the couple days respite we’ve have from hazardous air quality, and then there’s the expected rain showers tomorrow.
We are hopeful that Spring will prove to be a better time: the pandemic may be under better control, wildfire season should not prove to be an issue, and we’ll have the May election to help spark lively discussion!
So, stay tuned! We’ll let you know in early 2022 what we have planned. Hope to see you then.
We spent four years in active Resistance to POTUS 45, culminating in the 2020 election of President Biden and taking control of Congress by the barest of margins.
Although Democrats hold a majority in Congress, we know that not all Democrats are equal. As we shift toward advocacy for legislation like the For The People Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Act, there is still much to continue to fight against.
Let’s get together to reconnect and rededicate ourselves to a life of advocating for the values of racial, environmental, social and economic justice.
